Dedicated to Barack Obama

"I wish to say to each and every heart, 'Take up your flute.  The time is going fast.
See that the opportunity to sing the song does not slip by.
Before the curtain falls you have to sing your life's song.'"  Osho

Can you imagine the sensitivity, the sensibility and the ability that Vincent VanGogh received in this life to be able to express with a brush what he felt when he saw The Colors of the Night. He found more colors than in the daylight.  This country is in the dark night right now and you have been given the sensitivity, the sensibility and the ability to see the colors of the night.

Trust this existence, trust this phenomenal life energy that directs all, and move courageously with your vision.  TRUST LIFE - this is the key.  You need not be drowned in the stench of dirty old politics.  You need not surround your self with the "experienced" of old politics.  In trusting life, we know that it will provide you with all the intelligence and people you need to do this work.  These are transformational times.  Never loose sight of that.
Vincent left all old established techniques and went directly to see the energy itself.  You must discover that source.  It is within you and without you.  It is within all of us, but you have been
given this opportunity to discover this creativity and share it with the world at large.
There are, no doubt, many people who would consider this woman totally mad for writing this stuff.  That's because politics has long become a dirty word, even though one of the meanings is "practical wisdom".  We think of art and politics as not belonging to the same human race.  But it's not the "art" or the "politics" that determine anything, it's the person; it's the people and their willingness to live according to the eternal law.  In "Being There" Chauncey Gardner talks to the president as a gardner.   Out of his innocence he does not distinguish gardening from politics.  It is the same natural process.

I have only recently understood what distinguishes the United States of America from the rest of the world.  Many women and people with dark skin have been placed and elected into high offices, but they are so steeped in their traditions that it makes no difference.  There's no awakening.  The journey of the United States is parallel to our inner journey - the struggle to know ourselves and to take total responsibility for our lives.  Step by step from the violence of the explorers and the enslavement of the people from Africa to the election of Barack Obama have all been awakenings.

The election of Barack Obama has been a great awakening.  And like all awakenings it is fraught
with dangers - all the old must go for the new to be born.

Love
Priya
